workstations on a Novell 4.3 Lan. Aided users with sw apps. Correctly diagnosed lightning as having destroyed LAN circuit on
wkstation cards, disabling LAN connection to wk station, though local circuit still loaded ntwk drivers.
12/94-3/95 CHASE MANHATTAN BANK
Tech support, helping customers install, configure, and learn Microsoft Money on-line banking software. Determined method to reply,
on-line, to customers' queries into checks written through Pay-On-Line services, cutting response time and the number of searches for
checks posted to, but not cleared from accounts. Posted a "What-If" suggestion to superiors for that implementation. Discovered means
via modem to force closure of account files left in open status during previously aborted transmission, said state prevented user from
initiating any subsequent transactions without physical intervention of system analysts. Researched account records for balances, late
checks, and general inquiries.

Designed, proposed, and copyrighted the Computer Automated Software Testing system (CAST), which automates the testing,
recognition, and isolation of problems in sw systems. Used tools developed in C under OS2/PM to verify an imaging and badging
system. Proposed, designed and copyrighted several software applications. Proposed formation of standards committee to ensure
conformity and consistency of technology and functionality across apps.
1/90-3/90 COMPUTER PEOPLE, INC.
Designed, developed and wrote systems test scenarios for the IBM Office Vision System 2/LAN Series. This was an OS2/EE
Presentation Manager application on a Token Ring LAN under MS Lan Manager. Completed C class.
5/89-11/89 COURSEWARE, INC.
Programmed a CBT tutorial/on-line-help facility similar to MS Excel’s Help function for the IBM Office Vision System, precursor to
MS Office. Developed, debugged and inspected programs for presentation to IBM managers. Designed windows, list boxes, multi-
function boxes, and other Object Oriented Programming constructs under OS2/Presentation Manager with IBM’s Tutorial Manager, a C
derivative interpreter with 4GL file and function calls, predecessor to MS Windows API, facilitating the development and use of data
objects. Presented programs for review by IBM managers and developers. Trained other programmers in Tutorial Manager, OS2, and
PM. Performed software installation of OS2/PM and disaster recovery of hw and sw.
Designed and wrote program to automatically test and verify functional variations of OS2/PM, and Tutorial Manager releases/upgrades.
